We can no longer imagine (if ever we could) that only people we see suffer. In any case, we see lots of people. Walking round London yesterday, between the end of a meeting and the first cheap train home, I must have seen hundreds of faces. Some were visibly unhappy. All will have had stories... How is all this encompassed in Christ's death?
